   Perfume
                    Oil History

                    When
my group of musicians began to rehearse the early versions
of the Hara’s Quest songs, we met regularly in a large airy
room, at Concordia University (where I taught singing) in
                    Montreal, Canada.
We had a wonderful bass player, Alain Turgeon, who recorded
with us on the first demo. Later, he left the group, and a
new bassist, Suzanne Ungar joined us.
When she walked into the rehearsal room the first time, several
of us remarked on the wonderful scent she was wearing. It
was sensuous, earthy, and somehow light and sweet all together. Hara's
                    Scent

I was struck by how close this fragrance to the scent I had
imagined Hara experiencing during her life-changing deep body
massage. (Click to View the Song, “Body”)

Because the sense of smell was so important in Hara’s journey,
I decided to create a blend of oils to sell along with the
CD. Suzanne offered to come up with 10 or 12 combinations
                    of oils to test.
One evening, four women in the music group sat together to
nose-test the various potions as Suzanne unveiled them. I
also brought two blends that I had put together. In the end,
we were in complete agreement about the blend that most represented
Hara. It was Suzanne’s original fragrance.
In the past, I seldom wore perfume or oil blends. But I have
been wearing Hara's Perfume Oil for over a year now. I still
find it an intoxicating smell. And many women have asked me
what it is and where they can get it for themselves.
                    Men
seem to like it very much. I suspect it is the musk that attracts
                    them!

                    How
                      the Oil is Packaged
I wanted to stay away from any throw-out
packaging. After much thought and some help from my website
designer, Danielle Hoke (who also does arts and crafts), I decided
upon using a small, reversible, fabric bag made from materials
and colors that would represent the feel of the music.
These elegant satin bags tie with a satin drawstring cord that
fastens at the neck with a small, doughnut-shaped bead made
                  of colorful glass.
We have decided not to make you 'walking advertisements' for
us, so there is no logo or company name on the bag. It can be
used for whatever you choose when you are through with the fragrance,
although we hope you will reorder our Hara’s Body Oil.

                PLEASE
                  NOTE!
